I do love me a sexy milkcrate or milkcrate-like device.  Get your inspiration on!

I saw that a little while ago and thought about it.  It is very sexy indeed.  A little planning on the rails and your choice of tackle boxes, and it could be a real asset.

That is the polar opposite of what my crate usually looks like,

That article has so awesome ideas------the wheels are turning..Thanks AJ.
Life is short---live it tall.

Be kinder than necessary--- everyone is fighting some kind of battle.

Sailors may be struck down at any time, in calm or in storm, but the sea does not do it for hate or spite.
She has no wrath to vent. Nor does she have a hand in kindness to extend.
She is merely there, immense, powerful, and indifferent

I've got myself a Ride 135, but no crate hotness anything close to that!
Kayak fishing?  I have no clue, but I'm doing it.

Thanks for sharing Andy. I've read some of that guys stuff before. Pretty smart cookie.
I actually made his DIY GoPro telescopic camera mount using this link.

I also made that camera holder - works great..  I went one step further, and mounted the base of the holder into a Hobie rod holder insert, and now can utilize the my Hobie Revo's rear rod holders for a camera mount..works out well because it's slightly angled backwards, which results in a great over-the-shoulder viewpoint for the Hero.

I've found that a piece of 1" PVC with caps on the ends, and a piece of 1" pipe insulation over the 1" pipe fits very snugly into the stock rod holders. You then drill out the pipe caps to whatever diameter you need to hold whatever you want.

Thanks for finding that Andy.  I may try to make one this weekend.

That is how I mount my fish finder.  I had to drill a small hole in the top and bottom to release the suction or it was really difficult to get out.

That is a nice improvised FF holder!  I have several Ram balls and arms and Rod holders but haven't had the time to start putting it on my new Outback Hobie.  Need to do some more research before I drill my first hole!

I am also looking for an all in one FishFinder/ GPS.  I am thinking Garmin since they do make the best GPS's!

Thanks.  It was supposed to be temporary to see if I liked it at the side next to me versus out of the mast hole in the middle before I drilled.  I liked it so much, I have made it my permanent way of attaching the FF.

Really nice!  Once my clunky cheap kayak was basically outfitted to fish with I've spent my limited available time actually fishing. But I love that quality work he does!  Someday I'll make mine nice.
