I finally got around to snippin this video up from Pacific City with Craig. We ran into a mother Grey whale with calves inside the first cove just north of Cape Kiwanda, but couldn't see it on video. What a day. This was the same day Craig had the Coho smack his rockfish jig. Incredible!

I'm glad you're liking the vid's. Please keep in mind that video's like this one are very best case scenarios as far as weather is concerned for the ocean. 99% of the time this spot will not look the way it does in this video. Be safe and take your time. I would only go with people you know and trust on the salt. You're gonna love it though!

It was a beautiful day until the wind came up in the afternoon.  But, it was still the easiest "surf" landing I have experienced.  We just pedaled in and hopped off by the beach just like at a lake.  The whales were cool, too.
