I'll be fishing the Willapa River again tommorrow (Sat) from the South Bend launch.Plan to work up-river with the incoming tide (high tide is at 8:30 am) starting about 6:30.Will be using several different riggings,i.e. plugs, flashers, maybe a spin-n-glo with eggs on a dropper.
I talked to a couple of PB'ers at the launch a little bit ago who said some are still getting fish further out in the bay,Hardly any boats are above South Bend fishing, but my thinking is ,there has to be a few fish coming in,I just have to find the biters.I did see one roll last weekend and heard a couple of others jumping.
Anyone else want to give it a try --come on down.
    Report to follow...............

No love for me today......talked to several PB's that came in with fish. Most are still out past bouy 17 all the way out to Washaway. They said the waves got pretty knarly about 1:00 pm.Hmmmmm
Might have to go out there for now--wait for some rain to bring some fish higher up on the river.

  Not sure about tommorrow yet.....Hmmmmmmmm

Life is short---live it tall.

Be kinder than necessary--- everyone is fighting some kind of battle.

Sailors may be struck down at any time, in calm or in storm, but the sea does not do it for hate or spite.
She has no wrath to vent. Nor does she have a hand in kindness to extend.
She is merely there, immense, powerful, and indifferent
