These guys are awesome!! I started wearing a Bpod drysuit back in May of '10. By spring '11 it had some super slow seeping in the legs and feet. I should have sent it in then, but didn't want to be without when a window of opportunity opened up. By the end of the ORC 12', it was time to go! I was noticeably damp when I came off the water, and I was never once any deeper than my knees at the launch. It didn't make it out until the 1st week of July, and by the 1st of Aug I hadn't heard a peep. After calling them the other day to check the status, they said my suit would be warranty replaced!! At first they said it would be replaced with the EZ which is all black. This looks pretty sick, but I don't want to cook away in a black suit on the open ocean, not to mention the visibility factor... I called back and asked for either the AMP, or the Elvis, and told them I was willing to pay an up-charge if necessary. Got this email about 10 min ago

"Hi Richard,

I trust you are doing well.

Just a quick note to let you know my regional manager just wrote me back and said YES we can upgrade you to an AMP - which is RED - free of charge!  I have put the order through (it's in stock!!) and it will be on its way today. I know its cutting the wire for Labor Day, but its shipping from California so it should get there by the end of the week!"

I'm super stoked!! Hopefully I'll have a sweet new suit to test in the ocean this weekend, and report to write come Mon!

Big thanks to Joy and her management for the outstanding customer service!! :occasion14:

When I was shopping it was a tough call between the Kokatat Angler and the b-Pod.  I went with the Kokatat, but sounds like Stohlquist would have been a great choice too.

Great to hear of customer service like that!  Seems like more and more a rarity these days.  Will definitely consider them when in the market.

Wondering if they will do the same for my b-pod

Not a bad choice to upgrade.  I have the Ez, and as soon as the sun touches me I am instantly vaporized like a vampire.

I would much rather be up a creek without a paddle than down one.

I'm gonna call in my Bpod. It was leaking on both feet the first time I used them. I've only used mine a dozen times.
