During the bass tournament yesterday, I had a first.  I was reeling in what felt like an average size Willamette smallmouth when another hit the same crank bait.  Both were hooked on the same rear treble hook.  Gotta love those deep diving crank baits.  I also caught a coho jack on the same lure.  It was fun to catch a salmon on light gear.  But again, another salmon I was unable to keep. :'(

Amazing! Love those smallmouth. Too bad about the salmon. At least you won a salmon tournament tho! :P

Ive only once ever caught two fish on the same, but it was a big rapala, and each fish was on its own hook, thats nuts to catch em both on the same hook!

One was barely hooked and came off as I was netting them.   I guess they were hungry.

Awesome! Who woulda thunk!?!

Good thing you had the camera going. I was thinking though, if you were using a treble, there was room for one more. I guess there's always something to aspire to.  ;D

There were two trebles.  Room enough for 4 more. ;D

Ha ha - touche.
There is a little pond down the street from my house where I think that would actually be possible. They're only 4" but if you just left them on and kept casting, I'm sure you'd fill up all six spots eventually. LOL

Nice! And multi-species as well.  I guess a hitchhiker ling would probably count, too.
