Blizzard in North Twin Lake

Wobbler and i hit North Twin Lake today, he nailed a couple of 17" Rainbows, lots of fun kayaking in the snow!

Winter wonderland, wonder why I can't land a nice winter wonder like this!

I admire the dedication!

We hit Billy Chinook today and got blanked. Saw tons of fish on the FF and lots of little jumping Kokes but no nibbles. Great scenery though. Will post a couple of pics tomorrow.

It's snowing like mad in Redmond right now.

I was thinking of heading up that way the week of Thanksgiving to hit Paulina for some big browns and hopefully, finding some snow for the kids to play in.  Unfortunately, I noticed Paulina is closed for fishing until Spring.     Maybe I will see if Twin Lake Resort is open.

Drove home through The Dalles today, wow, the Gorge is Gorge-eous! Gotta fish and sail that area, anyone interested?

Plenty of snow to go around...10+ inches outside my windows as I write this. If we get another dump, access to Paulina may get tough. Twin Lakes Resort may be closed for the season. I think they stay open for a bit for hunters but elk / deer hunting is all but over. 

North Twin is year round, as is Davis Lake. Snow is the only determining factor as to them staying available.
