test of notify button

just curious as to what happens if someone clicks the "notify" button or the "report to moderator" link.

okay, "notify" is to add to notification via e-mail when someone responds to this thread.

As for the "report to moderator" link... evidently I can't report myself.  The program actually told me that it didn't make sense.  So if someone would like to report this post for me and report back what happened, I'd be grateful.  I'd report someone else's post, but I don't want to get you in trouble for my silly curiosity.

I reported you.  It takes you to a form where you can add comments.  Then an email is sent to the admin (me!).

I wasn't sure if it gives you a chance to make a comment to the moderator or not.  I wasn't sure how I'd get the report. etc..

We're still very friendly here, but it seems like Bill might want to let people on the NCKA site know about this option.  I don't think many people realize it is there and some recent posts have gotten ugly before the moderators even notice. (I'm probably to blame and I wish someone would stop me sometimes).

Yep, I got the report and I'm thinking about taking some action against the offender.

Oh, BTW my inspiration on all this was a recent post on IFish where Jennie has gotten tired of all the bashing and wants things back like they used to be when her site was small.
