Congrads to everyone that put it out there in 2012!

You are all solid fishermen in my book and I am glad we are in the same tribe. I learned a lot from everyone this past year and look forward to meeting more of you in 2013.

Happy New Year to all!

Hell of a great late season run! That smallie is PIG! This may be the first ever Washington 1st and 2nd.

Looking forward to a great 2013.

Thanks!  That last smallie was a true gift from the fish gods on the winter equinox. I was on 6# test trout gear with a #4 hook. I landed it by the skin of it's upper lip, and the hook came out the moment it hit the net.  I wasn't out to grab any more points past early November, unless it was a big cutty, it was just fate that I slipped past Jammer in the last couple days. I've been obsessed with the fine details of the cutty fishery this fall/winter.

I know how hard everyone worked this year, I see your fish and read the stories, and you are all fine fishermen.  You all made me a better fisherman in 2012.  Keep it up.

I've really enjoyed the AOTY particularly for giving me an incentive to fish for species I haven't previously targeted out of habit/routine.

Lots of nice fish caught and next year will be even more competitive!

Congratulations to all you fine fishermen! It's been fun watching the epic battle from the sidelines.  Looking forward to tracking the excitement in 2013! :wav:

Is it officially over or are we waiting the full two weeks for any last minute surprises?
