I'm going to visit a friend up in Medford this year (sometime around July, Aug, Sept), and want to time it so I can fit in a weekend of fishing. I'd really love to get down to Gold Beach and try for salmon off the Hobie PA, but I'm looking for a little help on where and when. Any trout in the Medford area?

Try Lost Creek Lake, outside of Shady Cove (head out Hwy. 62), for both trout and small mouth bass.  Also, Howard Prairie Lake outside Ashland (south of Medford).
