If my device is accidentally exposed to liquid after being treated by Liquipel what do I do?
Do not panic! Please follow the aftercare instructions that we will provide you with once your device has been treated. These instructions include drying the device as much as possible, powering down the unit (if it is not an emergency and you do not need to make a call), removing the battery and battery cover if possible and not restarting the device until it has fully dried. Please also note that it is very important not to charge your device for at least 24 hours or until it has dried out completely. Devices that have experienced heavy water exposure will take time to dry before the features become fully functional again.

It's not really "use in a wet environment friendly".  More like "your device won't immediately fry scenario".

Yea just read thru some of it. I guess a lifeproof case would be better. 

Well known tech blogger Leo Laporte casually dropped his Liquipel treated iPhone into a glass of water during a live show. Funny stuff. The phone fried immediately. Even Lifeproof has its issues, but in my experience it protects most of the time.

If there are other waterproofing solutions that work with a wide variety of electronics but don't impact screen clarity, I'd like to hear about it. The potential loss, particularly for the costly Apple products that benefit from a wider variety of waterproofing solutions, is steep.
