Real or fake?

I think the wide angle lens puts things out of prospective.   I would say by Banzai Pipeline, Mavericks, Cortes Bank  .... standards, that would be considered an average wave at best.   Notice the lack of misty air seeming to shoot him out as the curl collapses behind him which is typical of BIG waves. 
This one still makes my butt pucker when I see it .... only wish GoPro's were out when this one was ridden.
