Just joined the forum.  Been kayak fishing for a few years for trout and kokanee in Oregon Lakes using a sit-in 8' recreational kayak, but just upgraded to a Hobie Revolution TODAY.  ;D  I'm pretty excited to get it all set up and maybe try trolling for springers this season.  If I get brave, I'd love to try some salt water this summer, but for sure I'll be out on the lakes.  And checking out all the informative fun stuff here on NWKA.

Welcome bb! Those Revos are great - that grin won't wear off for awhile. I'm gonna try for some kokes this year. Maybe you can give me some tips.

Welcome. Do you fish for kokes at Green Peter? I went a few times last year and met up with some members here which was fun. I expect to go a few times in April and May this year . Holler if you want company for some kokanee fishing.

C-Run -- yes, I go up to Green Peter for Kokes.  Glad to know there's more kayak-koke-krazies out there.

I had an absolute awesome day on the water today in my new Revo - so much fun!  I noticed one time a stick kicked up the keel and i had no steerage to the right...guess that's why the cleat is used for down rudder.  Now, just a few (hundred) more outings to decide where to mount things...

Oh, I caught a trout on my maiden voyage - how cool is that?  Good Karma.
