Extended one more time.  And ... limit goes up to 4 on Wednesday.  I'm off to San Jose until Thursday night, but  hopefully will hit Lake WA one last time for some revenge with the sockeye.  Also, Elliott Bay's last day for kings  is this weekend and would like to get one last day in for those as well.  Let's see, kings on Saturday morning, sockeye on Sunday morning.  Who's game?

My Lake Washington skunk has finally fallen ;D  I thought I was just destined to guide as everyone else I brought out in my tandem yak would limit.
This happened again last Sunday.  It would just take more time on the water so I went out for a 2 hour paddle on Monday night.
It seems to have paid off as I hooked into a frisky 4 #er.

Something to think about. The Danskin Triathlon is Sunday the 20th 5:30 Am at Genesse Park.  Your Madison area launch and fishing the 520 bridge would be the farthest South I would want to be.
Those poor girls out there in the water with a bunch of boats.

I've had pretty good luck off Sand Point tihs last week (actually, everyone I bring out to Sand Point seems to have pretty good luck).  There even seems to be a flotilla of boats trolling this area.

I would like to try for kings out of Elliott bay on Saturday.  I've never tried to target them as I would bet they are quite deep.  How do you fish for them?  Where do you launch from?

Kurt

Hey Kurt, way to go.  The tide is turning ...

I have been launching at the Don Armeni ramp ... http://www.seattle.gov/parks/Boats/don_arm.htm

Although there are some places closer to Salty's that I think we could put in.  I'm tentatively planning on a Saturday morning launch as soon as there is enough light to get the yaks on the water.  I'll firm up my plans later in the week, but I think I'm better than 50/50 at this point that I'll fish Elliott Bay on Saturday.  I'll let you know later this week.  I have been mooching a cutplug herring.  Slow troll/mooch from the my way over the between the east and west water way.  Although I think next time I'll jet over there first thing and only stop if I meter some good signs.  If you want to try to meet up, let's firm up our plans later this week.
