Hello.  I'm new to kayak fishing and new to NWKA.  I live in Lexington, KY and been working on "gearing up" to kayak fish over the past 9 months or so.  It's been pretty expensive starting for scratch.  There is a pretty active bunch of yak anglers here in KY working the numerous reservoirs around the state.  Nice bass fishing is available throughout the KY.

I joined NWKA, because I do like to travel and if I can get into a little kayak fishing action along the way.., it's nice to learn how other yak anglers go after their favorite local species.  I was able to fish a couple of days with guide off the Kona coast this past November and hooked up with another in SW Florida in January.  Two totally different fishing experiences, but good times.

I'll be visiting Vancouver, BC for few days this September and would love to hook up for a day trip with local guide / outfitter.

Greetings to the group, and looking forward to hearing what is going on in the Great North West. :)

Welcome to the site. I'm over on Vancouver Island but I know there are some members on the lower mainland who might be able to hook up with you when you come to Vancouver.
