I went out Wednesday with the new turbo fins.  More effort required, but the payoff is worth it.  Cut across the bay easily and cruised up the north jetty.  Pulled a couple greenling before the wind came up and the tide started running out.  Much easier to peddle back to the boat launch.
The turbo fins and the sailing rudder should be the standard.

Like others mentioned, the only time I've had problems is against the tide with a strong headwind.
No matter how many times the PB's tell me I'm nuts....I still smile every time I out fish them

a few weeks ago i bought the outback and revo 13....the outback hull went back to dealer to exchange for another revo 13. a buddy of mine and i went fishing lake opener, calm morning, fricken beatiful(trout fishing good to) then wind came up a little, my buddy was having a hellofa hard time where i was having no problem. whatever it took i knew the outback had to go back. it`s just too much of a tank. i had bought it for stability for my daughters sake and possibly mine but after being on the revo i know she could handle that no problem, so back the outback went should have the other revo in a month? if anyone is looking for a hobie to buy or other i highly recommend the kayak shed in hood river.
