Well wanted to ling fish today... thought about it, looked at the tidal exchange/weather and decided to leave the yak at home so I headed to des moines pier and started casting my usual 7in tora tubes, and got nothing but the bottom... changed to a pt wilson dart and hooked three lings and a HUGE black cod (probably 16in and FAT) all lings were in the 22-24in range so they went back into the big pond... it was a blast though... I do regret not takin the yak though...
