I'm sorry that it took me a couple of days to find time to reply. The reason why that guy capsized is quite simple - he had to ease the sail. This is a common problem of all sportsmen. Easing the sail is a curse and must not be made under any circumstances. Period.

Another reason is the design on fin keel on AI. It is on the starboard of the hull (not at its keel line), right next to the right buttock. So, the guy, didn't ease, AI heeled on port, resistance on the port ama has dramatically increased, fin went out of water and stopped stabilization, AI turn more aport, sail went athwart to the wind, the boat capsized.

So how does one flip the AI back over?  Obviously, you would bring the amas back tight to the hull, but I assume you have to remove the mast and sail.
