I think I she is addicted

I got my girlfriend out today for some bass fishing. We got some small bass and panfish, but she had a blast.

I love it. That's how it starts. Next thing you know they're making picture of the month and you start to rethink the monster you've created.

While true, it's still a great investment.  while your expense doubles, time on the water can double as well.  At the very least, the nagging (if such a thing occurs) is far less when the significant other participates!

If someone told me that I could "spend money" and double my fishing time, I'd think long and hard about it no matter the price!  lol.

I am continually reminded just how blessed I am.  TLW is content to let me fish while she cuts the lawn!

I'm going rub it in just a little.

One of the most heartwarming moments of our life together was the day she asked me to teach her to start the lawn mower.

Another was about a week later, when I was awakened from an afternoon nap to the sound of the lawnmower.

   I feel  your pain guppy tamer.

  I've been getting my wife out on my Outback recently and now she wants to drive down to Portland Saturday to try out a few different boats. But you know what---I'm all for it.  It's only 6 hours of driving and we'll make it a pleasant trip. And we will spend more time together on the water doing what we both love to do.
  My take ---is to go for it with a gusto. You won't be sorry. The time shared will be priceless. The memories even better.

I love fishing with my wife! Fishing with your SO is just like doing anything else with them: if you have a good relationship it's going to be a good thing, and if you don't then it won't. I'm not saying I never like to get out on the water alone, but the time spent together is priceless.

I thought I would say a word from the other side! 
My dad taught me to fish at a VERY young age, like age 3. So it was not hard for Mark & I to become fishing buddies! Yes, our fishing expenses are doubled, but at least for us it is well worth it!

You will not regret the wonderful memories and bonding you will build with a significant other!
