Hey everyone! I'm Dave Brace of PaddletheNorthwest.com I am relatively new to the area but am an avid fishermen with my preference being for kayak fishing. I have already gotten my first keeper ling cod out of the sound this season so i feel like i'm getting the hang of things. Going for smallmouth bass in lake union/ lake washington today. I'll let everyone know how it goes.

I fish out of a locally made 17' 8" fiberglass sea kayak and occasionally a 12 ft cheapo pelican plastic for small bodies of water. We are working on writing a book about kayaking the san juan islands and have our blog going on the website. In a week or so I'll be posting a blog about my experience trying to handline for lings out of my boat but yeah. Looking forward to getting to know some of you.  :banjo:
