Hi all,

Just moved up to Anchorage with my fiancée, and brought the fishing yak along with me. We had been down in NC while she got her degree, so I broke it in for a couple years fishing redfish and sea trout, but I really wanted it for when I got up here. It's an OK Trident Ultra 4.3. Sweet boat, looking forward to introducing it to a bit colder water than it is used to.

I'm planning on heading down to Seward Friday (tomorrow) to start figuring things out. Never fished for halibut or salmon in the salt, should be fun getting things dialed in. Hopefully I can tag a fish or two for the AOTY this summer.

Looking forward to seeing some of you AK folks out on the water.

Welcome!!!! I'm going to try and hit Seward Sunday. The primary goal is to see if I can troll up a sockeye. But in sure ill be looking for some other species as well.

You've found the right place!! Be safe and hope to see you on the water!!!
