mounted rod holder and fish finder

finally did some cuttin' on the outback.  I mounted the scotty rod holder just in front of the hobie holder, used it last week and seemed to work out good with the extension.  I made my own fish finder mount and over the side transducer mount.  worked ok but need to add something in the mast holder to keep it from twisting while pedaling.

that's where I had my fish finder mounted until I got one with GPS.  I never had to touch it and it was out of the way.

I tend to mark spots where I get a hit or see structure and/or bait so I need to punch the buttons.

Also, I wouldn't add to the mast holder to prevent the twisting of the transducer arm. I would brace the arm to the hull because the lever arm is much smaller out there. A hole through the arm with a dowel going down to the outside of the hull should limit the arm motion enough without adding a hole to the kayak. If you're dead set on drilling, I'd consider a pad eye and a bungy or short leash to hold the arm in place.
