New guy

Josh here for those of you that met me at ORC. I just wanted to thank everybody for their hospitality, encouragement and the wealth and knowledge that I picked up over the weekend. I big huge thank you to Dana and Eric for getting me setup with a kayak and gear to participate in the tournament, also Next Adventure for loaning me the turbo fins!!! This was my first time fishing out of a kayak let alone taking a kayak out in the ocean. I HAD A BLAST!!!! LOVED IT!!!! And I am now hooked  Looking forward to future events...... Once again thank you everybody, you are a great group of people!!!!!

Congratulations on your efforts on being "ready and able". As you know preparedness is the name of the game! Not everybody has your fitness, other whitewater and Search and Rescue qualifications to be able to start off in the salt. I know I felt better after spending Friday on the river with you. This ORC was quite the conditions to break your cherry!

Glad there is another local in the Eugene area. We gotta hit some more water soon!

Thanks Noah, not sure if I met you down at ORC but I had a BLAST!!!!!!!  I will be at AOTY with Erik and Dana was kind of enough to loan me his extra outback again......... Super excited!!!!! So excited I put my beloved girl (dirtbike) up for sale so I can get me an outback and some gear   

I believe I talked with you a little at one point. Hopefully I'll see you at AOTD, not really sure if I can make it down there yet.

Glad to hear you had such an awesome time at ORC. Wait until you're out there on a calm beautiful day and the fishing is red hot. You'll freak out.
