Hello everyone, my name is Oleg. I am glad that I found this forum because you are to blame for getting me into kayak fishing (all your videos, reports, and pictures inspired me). I live in Kent and was fishing mainly from the banks. Just only last week I bought my Hobie Outback. Do you remember how exited were you when that tank was sitting in your garage? Do you remember how you were trying to find different ideas for your kayak online? Well, that is what I am doing right now and thanks to many people on forum I found many great ideas. Hopefully I will be done by Tuesday with my kayak and will take it fishing for the first time. Fish ON!

The morning my first kayak and gear was delivered, an OK T13A, PFD, AT paddle, and scupper cart, I dragged it into the living room on the cart.  In the afternoon I was sitting in it with the PFD on and the paddle in my hand when TLW arrived home from work a little early ...

I remember the first time my wife caught me on the Ms. Salma Kayak (my kayak). She just said, "You look really happy." I looked at her, smiled, and said, "Best wife EVER!"

I think she thought I was talking about her...

Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.  --Mark Twain

I'm going to start a "first kayak story" thread...
Relax. You'll live longer.
