I bought the i1015 case for my iPhone from Outdoorplay.
This case is for ''rugged sports'' and is ''water resistant".
The case I received when closed has a 1/16+ of an inch gap around the edge. Like it is lacking an 'O' ring.
Looks good but worthless.
Anyone have experience with this?? I think something is/was missing...
Thank you,
Grant

Send it back and buy a life proof case. I went thru 6 iPhones due to water damage then I got mine and have not had water damage since. I have had my phone submerged more then once in both fresh and salt water. I'm a believer.

I can say with good confidence that those lifeproof cases are legitimate. I have a ton of co-workers that have them, and use their iphones out in the rain all winter long. The audio is a little garbled when playing music, but they seem fine other than that. I don't own one but have witnessed their glory. I have a S3 and they didnt have the case out for them yet when I bought, or I would have bought one.

Wish they made the Lifeproof for the S4. Thinking of trying one of those Skin things with my Otter Box case.

I now use the life proof case on my 4s. The otter box and other methods did not work for me. I have dipped my phone three times now and the case did its job. The only caution is to unscrew the cap on top or remove it when not by water. The case is so air tight condensation will build in there and damage your phone if the conditions are right.

I would not recommend that. Too easy to lose the cap. Just open the port at the bottom. You have to everyday to charge anyway. :)
