Built a downrigger using some PVC and aluminum. Test drove it today at Green Peter and it works great. I had an old Jigmaster reel that is able to haul up the 4 pound weight. Had three bites and lost one Kokanee in the 4 hours I was there. Elusive buggers

I just used the existing molded in rod holder behind the seat. No drilling required. Used electrical tape around the pvc to create a snug fit.
