I've been following this forum for a few weeks now and finally decided to join. Great info on here. I am new to kayak fishing this year and purchased a pompano 120 from west marine. Right now mainly fishing out of Whidbey island for salmon, trout and crabbing of course.

Hello NWKA and members! I'm of course new to the site but I'm also new to the sport (kayaking and fishing).  Being stationed at Ft. Lewis got me interested in salmon fishing. I wanted to get into it without spending too much money so I bought a on inexpensive Lifetime Angler kayak and some fishing rods. I've been on the sound a few times now and I'm addicted. I live in Lacey, WA. I have been up to Point Defiance, Chambers Bay, nisqually river, and plan to launch into the nisqually delta this weekend.  Looking forward to gaining knowledge from everyone and possible seeing some of you on the water.

Hey Chopp, a few of us stationed on McChord AND live in Lacey as well.  Check out the Washington Fishing forum and post up your outings.  Usually one of us going out every couple days.
