Thinking of trolling around the bay maybe putting in at taft street. Any one been here before for salmon and have any pointers? Might also head up river and drift down later in the day. Any company welcome.

I was out in the bay yesterday - it was not a lot of fun. The bay is very shallow and the rather large tide range going right now made for some crazy currents, especially in the Taft area - near the mouth. We did attempt to troll up the channel with the incoming, without luck, spending much of the time clearing sea weed from our lines.  Also, sea lions everywhere on the bay!

If we were to go out again, would definitely do the river instead...
