Great trip on the ocean with nephew!

Loaded up with poles and crab pots and head on a ocean of 4ft swell and no wind. Launched at 8 am heading west. Yelled out to my nephew o wait for the break he looked over his shoulder and smiled at me. Next thing I see is he is straight vertical and bow over stern. I look back as I pop over the same wave to see him being able to stand and flip his kayak back over grab hi s floating gear to see him look at me looking at him over my shoulder with a big smile.

He lost his only pole so I loaned him one of my spares. I have the pro angler and 3 rods. Love the angler. As my nephew rigs the pole I figure I would troll for salmon, even though our plan was to bottom fish. 15 minutes I hook up twice on salmon had to let go. He's ready and we head to our spot.
Beautiful day no wind, drop the pots and start landing fish, He catches the biggest lingcod he ever caught, landed sea bass one cabbie and 4 sea trout (greenling) I catch 4 nice sea bass couple greenlings and between us 16 crabs.

We head back to the beach and on the same wave we both hoolie. My first and what a BLAST! no gear lost. Hoolie all on Go pro.
