Just stumbled on to this site last night lot's of good info here and I'm glad i found it.  I've been kayaking for five years and fishing since 8. Just started combining the two this year and love it. I own a 13.8 Old Town Loon that was abandoned by my parents when they moved to MT. It's not the most stable fishing platform but it is quick on the water. I just started salmon fishing this year and what a blast hooking into a 20lbs king in a yak and having it pull you around the sound.

Here are a couple pictures of my set up.

First time out fishing on the sound

Took out the rear seat for more storage

Last weeks catch

Thanks again
