Mukilteo Lighthouse Festival... can I launch from the beach during the festival?  Anybody else going for some pinks this weekend in the north sound?
If at first you don't succeed....  maybe skydiving is just not for you.

I was thinking of hitting it on Sunday morning. I've launched from the beach in the past, but I didn't know about a festival this weekend...

Pretty sure the parking lot is closed.  However if you get there earlier enough you might be able to get a spot. I usually take the bus down there for the festival and do.t pay much attention to the parking lot

Yeah mr-yaks-alot is right, it looks like all of the on site parking is either closed or converted to handicap parking. There may be street parking close by if you get there early though. Unfortunately I had my wheels stolen last week at Dash point so I will be looking for an option elsewhere that doesn't involve a hike...

As an alternative just fish the lower Snohomish. Went out for a couple of hours this evening and caught 4. 2 inch buzz bombs do the trick. Never got farther than 1/2 mile from the boat launch. Probably head out both Saturday and Sunday.

Tmeyers, that's what I was thinking of doing... I will probably try to get out there before 6:30 if I can. Saturday is going to going to be a long day for me so we will see if I can manage it.

Actually screw that. I'm sleeping in and hitting the incoming tide at 1:30 or 2:00.  :)
