Wife and I live just a bit south of Vernonia, 25+ years, but have never fished the "pond." Some would say that's fortunate  ::)  We've been hunting around here forever but the last time I fished was during lazy Wisconsin summers using a cane pole, bobber and worms for usually Perch. We're gonna learn though, thus why I've been lurking. Should have Revos, 11 and 13, next week. I started wanting the Outback but a few places are shallow (Nehalem) and better suited for just paddling maybe, so opted for the 13.  EVERYBODY around here fishes and wonders why we haven't yet - we're gonna fix that. Back to lurking, nothing good to offer.....yet  :)
