Here is an ODFW news release on the up Willamette Coho.

I fished it today for 7 AM to about 11 Am.
Launched from Molalla river state park in Canby.  No fish today. 2 other PB were fishing the mouth of the molalla river no fish for them either.

Flow is still a little high should improve if we stay dry.

I will be trying it again tomorrow.

I tried above the falls the last 2 weeks with nothing to show.  The storm last week really dropped the temp and visibility.

I was up there last Sunday and had no luck, the water was a muddy mess.  I'm heading out it give it another go either today or tomorrow...the counts are looking good!

Quick question, are barbless hooks required above the falls?  From what I've read it doesn't seem like it...

"...barbless hooks will be required from the mouth to Willamette Falls, including the Multnomah Channel..."

Will there be salmon around next weekend?

I wouldn't mind chasing them on Sunday after fishing for Sturgeon on Saturday.

I would say yes. They normal peak for the run is the last week of September with the last fish over the falls in November.

Should be around 100 to 200 fish a day heading upriver.

Fishing to day was slow. No fish caught by the 3 PB or the lone kayak. Flow out of the Molalla was higher today than yesterday.
I saw on drift boat head up the Molalla and noticed on stream angler upriver on the drive home.

River should improve every hour with out rain.
