How many of you get out for rockfish during the Winter months? I've been watching the marine conditions website and it looks like there are a lot of relatively flat days out of Depoe. That it was 70 degrees in Brookings recently didn't help my situation much.

Curse you, Cabin Fever!!!

I feel your pain, I'm getting a little stir crazy myself. Steelhead fishing has me super irritated...I'm going to go find some surf perch tomorrow. Maybe I can wash some skunk off my kayak.

I fished La Push earlier this month...bagged a 10 Rockfish limit in under two hours. Sea was calm but there was a 10-12 Mph offshore wind that made it a bit nippy. Fresh grilled rockfish in January just kicks ass.

Went out about a week ago and fish the north jetty of coos bay for a couple of hours.3 blacks and 4 nice size crabs, had to really work for them(The blacks). The crabs all took a #4 baitfish fly pattern!
