Shelter Bay.

ROAD TRIP!!!! Or I guess fly and/or water taxi trip!!!!!!!!!!!

July anyone????????

If we hurry, we can reserve the cabin

Check the date, but after mid-July is when you used to be able to keep lings, maybe it was July 15.  An easy paddle from Shelter are large lings and small halibut.  We caught a number of 40+ inch lings and countless chicken butts to about 20# when we were there.  We also caught silvers and there were a ton of pinks in the area.  There are tidal rapids from the cabin in the bay to the ocean, fun to ride when the tide is going out, a bitch to walk up when the tide is going out.  We had bear and deer within sight of the cabin.  We caught the salmon shark by Deer Cove, just 2-3 miles to the west.

I have a family thing mid july but I would be up for a mid August to mid sept thing especially if we could do some deer hunting in there. Of course timing it all depends on if i got any good hunting draw tags or not. Other wise i could do a long weekend towards the end of july or any time in June just about. I just need to know a few months out so the mrs. can put in for the time off to watch the youngish types.
