Went to allan island. Started at burrows and was only hooking greenling. So on a hunch migrated a good distance. Seals followed me all day, some bs, within 50 feet of my boat. For at least 3 hours, but i did manage a couple nice lings, good practice ..

Allen Is is south of Burrows Is.  Looks like Flounder Bay is the same as Skyline Marina.

always thought that area was fishy. In fact he's showing the same place that I was at when it hit me during a tandem sea kayak tour that I could put fishing and yaks together.

if you get that way again, try around the other side in the kelp beds by the lighthouse on burrows. looked like perfect place for lings.

there's a kayak tour company near there that operates half, full and multi day tours and adventures around those islands. last I knew, allan island was for sale for 18 million.... that was ummmm 7, maybe 8 years ago.

I hooked some.good fish at burrow island. but the current was moving too strong through Burroughs pass. The south end of the island with the rock walls,it was very very snaggy.I lost 3 lures in 10 minutes there. I wasn't running a fish finder so I was kind of Fishingin  the dark but I would definitely go back and give that part of burrows Island a try

Looks like a great trip (big smiles and all). That place looks like it was made for fishing and cameras.
