Hello Everyone,

My name is Cosmo, and I'm from Tigard.  I recently joined the group, and upgraded from a basic sit-in kayak to a Hobie Mirage Outback I purchased at the Sportsman's show from Next Adventure.  I've had the kayak now for two weeks, watched every youtube video on rigging the kayak for fishing, and have been working on it every night.

I think it's ready to fish.

I wanted to introduce myself, and hope to make some new friends in the group, fishing the Willamette for Springers, Sturgeon and at the coast for rockfish and lings.

I would also welcome the opportunity to go on any outings with anyone willing to take a newbie along.

Thanks and have a great day.

Welcome Cosmo - you're a step ahead of myself by owning a SOT Yak, but I'm here to say you'll find the folks here very welcoming and I wouldn't doubt for a second if the dates line up, anyone here wouldn't welcome a newbie along.

Welcome to the site Cosmo.  Once the weather improves and the fish start showing up, I am sure there will be many opportunities get out on the water with folks.
