I've been out in Utah for quite a while now. Getting ready to move back to the WV soon and have been thinking about good all around boats for fishing multiple species.  Finally started thinking about kayaks, so now I'm just doing some research and found NWKA. I just got back into fishing this past year after not really doing much since I was a kid and I'm really looking forward to coming home and getting in a yak.

Welcome Nate. Lots of great people here. What kind of fishing are you looking to get into?

Lots of small rivers and lakes in W.Va. I dream of a predator back there Hobies are nice but standing and casting that predator looks like the ticket. Not to mention deer hunting out of one. I from and my folks still live in Ritchie county

I thought the WV might confuse. Coming back to the Willamette Valley. I'm looking forward to fishing for multiple species. I grew up warm water, bass, panfish and the like. Really looking forward to Steelhead and salmon. Done some kokanee fishing at Flaming Gorge in Utah so I'm excited to try some Oregon kokanee as well. The prospect of getting out in the big water in the future is also very exciting. Lots of things to look forward to in a kayak.
