Ok……. So my maiden voyage was awesome! Devils lake proved to be a awesome lake to learn on… The Bite is on and it’s not the stock trout that are biting. It seems like out of the 2 trout I caught were well over 18 inches. Had two hook ups that I never even got to see what it was – SNAPPED the line! Watched a guy at the dock pull up a 24” inch easy lake trout only to have his line snap trying to land it. People were limiting out daily. Trolling was working the best. Being new I didn’t troll next time for sure! Awesome place to put in at the state park right by the main dock. So there is my first report…..

Bravo!  It's good to see that the cure is working on you as well.  Funny thing though, over time you'll need more and more of it to quench the madness. ;D
Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.  --Mark Twain
