I was in the Kayak Shed today and Langston pointed me to a new net they are now carrying....Model LLN181846K.
It has a 46" length and is really of good quality, light weight, but strong net....  http://www.yakattack.us/LLN181846K_p/lln181846k.htm
Compared to my 6' long straight handled net, this is a nice design where you can get enough leverage w/o having to place a longer handled net under your arm.
The net folds back over the handle and easily stores in the rod holder hole in my PA-14.....this model also has  extra foam to protect/cushion your forearm.

Has anyone used these? Concept looks good but I typically land my fish on my left side (I'm right handed) so it seems too short.

18" hoop and bag is too small and too short for anything except bass and small trout.

From a kayak you brace the net handle with a foot over the side.  :)

Langston liked my net :D

I've had this net for almost 3 years, and it's great. While, no, it's not ideal for bigger fish, a big salmon net isn't ideal for bass fishing either. The right tool for the right job type of thing...

What I like about the Leverage net is that it fits well into a flush mount or rocket launcher. Because it breaks down, it's not so much of a sail if the wind picks up.

I'm right handed and land fish on the left side of my boat as well. It's really easy to use with your left hand.

I think my favorite thing about it is that it floats. :o I don't have to worry that if I drop it, it's heading to the bottom.
