2014 Nehalem Bay Crab Derby

From what I understand, this is a blast - just keep missing it due to softball tournaments the past couple years.  For those interested, they are raising some money for a couple north Oregon coast charities - would be cool if somebody crabbing from their kayak were to catch the tagged $1000 crab!

Come One, Come All to the 2014 Nehalem Bay Crab Derby hosted by Kelly's Brighton Marina on BEAUTIFUL Nehalem Bay!! We are counting on ONE (1) LUCKY crabber to bring in the $1000.00 crab this year! There will be many other prizes, activities for the kids, oyster eating contests, yummy food and live music from THE EXILES on Saturday evening ~ a $10.00 ticket purchase gets you in the running for catching a tagged crab and all proceeds from ticket sales, raffles and auction items go to the two sponsored charities - The Mudd-Nick Foundation in Manzanita and the Wild Life Center of the North Coast in Astoria.
