I fished it yesterday by Lake Oswego. It had good vis but it also was raining cats and dogs. I would guess it by tomorrow it will be blown out due to the amount of rain we got. Davis Bar would be your best bet IMO.

Turbidity is on exponential growth curve right now. I don't think the Willy will be fishable for a week or so. I hear some folks are doing fairly well running running kwiks in shallow water in the St Helens area of the Columbia. I expect the channel will blow overnight.

I'm thinking about hitting davis bar as well, never fished the area though.  Any thing I need to be aware of?  Where can I check the wind forecast?  If I go, I would probably get there around 2 and fish untill 5 or so.  Any one else going to be there?

The main thing with Davis is the amount of boat traffic.  I am assuming that with the Willy being in the condition it will be in soon/now that Davis will have some extra pressure. The advantage IMO with the kayak will be working the very shallow water that the boaters will steer clear of (5-10 feet).  Its a sandy bottom so not really snaggy at all.  There is pilings that run out below Davis and in the area just above Frenchmans.  You will float over these in the kayak but will not get your gear back if you hang up.  Paying attention to the crowd flow will give you a good idea of where not to be.

Good luck!!
