I thought I knew my fish but what is the fish in the first picture?  I'd guess rainbow but I don't think I have ever seen the spots extend so far down to the belly.  pretty fish though!!

They're Lahontan Cutthroat trout. They fight like wet socks but are great for kids to handle/fish for. I think the local cutthroat in Lake Washington are more hearty/better brawlers pound for pound..

Whew...thx. Never seen one so I guess I wouldn't know. Thought I was losing my fishy senses after a long winter!!! Beautiful fish though!!
