Just a quick intro!  I am new to the kayaking world, in fact I don't even own one at the moment.  I have been an avid Salmon fisherman for the last 15 years, and would like to broaden my horizons a bit.  I recently participated in the Kings for the Kids Tournament and won the biggest fish prize of $500.00 and thought, I might put the prize money towards a kayak.  I really like the idea of the Hobie mirage kayaks, but at the moment believe they are not in my budget.  Tight lines Chris

Welcome.  Keep an eye on Craigslist, you'll find a decent deal if you're diligent.

I don't know how good of a deal I got, but I took advantage of a Pre-Memorial day sale at Overtons.com and purchased a Perception Pescador 12 angler Kayak.  After the 20% off I spent $479.00+ $50.00 freight.  Looking foward to having it arrive so that I can rig it with my little depth finder/gps and Folbe rod holder.  I think it will be a great little kayak for fishing Drano Lake, the White Salmon and the Klickatat.  :)
