Looks like they were going after white and yellow plugs?  I always thought those were too bright for these clear water conditions.

Plug ran deep, easily hit bottom at 8' with moderate retrieve or 1.5 mph troll. It looks like a small mouth bass with yellow cheeks. Mostly green sides with vertical stripes.

Also got good results with a 4" Pumpkinseed Senko.
