PAC City Part 2

Woke to some drizzly, foggy, pea soup yuck today. It had rained part of the night and I wondered if today was even doable.

Got down to the beach and saw this....



Only 3 empty dory trailers on the beach and a coffee committee meeting of 2 more at the head of the ramp. Here's a pic with some scale of what was holding up the parade.



Had a couple squalls blow through and decided to wait it out. Tide turned around 0530ish and because it was a minus this morning, figured I'd wait and see what happened.

Noticed there was an occasional big set with a 5-8 minute series of 3-4's. Virtually no wind. Completely manageable with some timing. Suited up and out I went.

By the time I was at the rock it looked like this...





Fishing wasn't red hot but was consistent. About 10 blacks and a legal ling in a couple hours.



Came back in to this.....



Beautiful. 2-3 footers with an occasional 4-5 footer.

Kept 3 of the largest Rockies and the Ling. Bad last fish porn pic, sorry!



It's 70-75ish w/ no wind now. I think what MSW was predicting for tomorrow is here early!
