I see on the lunar phase calendar that the moon will be full on Saturday of ORC. I have never paid much attention to this when going out rock fishing, but I know it DEFINATELY has an effect on the nocturnal feeding habits of most game species. By others accounts, is there much merit in this for our beloved bottom dwellers we intend to catch for ORC? Anyone noticed a difference in rock fishing with the lunar phase? Do you change tactics, colors or the like? Of course this doesn't pertain to the few of you (you know who you are!) that might be howling at the moon after 3 kegs of Ninkasi have been tapped. Perhaps the point is moot as it looks like we are lucky enough as it is, with the surf/swell conditions improving. :o

The extra low tide will make for interesting conditions on either side of the channel, but we all know to avoid those areas.  Not sure about feeding habits.
