Salmon fishing nets

What size nets have you found works best from your yak for salmon? Hoop size & Handle length?

As big and long as you think you can manage. They don't like being near the boat, and you typically have a fair amount of leader to deal with as well. Here's mine. That's an 80lb lab

After spending a bunch of time at outdoor emporium handling a variety of sizes, I went with a 26" x 30" hoop on a 3' handle.  The next sizes up just seemed to cumbersome to me.

Is that what you get when you use catfish for bait?

I had a biggest trout rod, which I thought would be fine for coho. Just now switch to a 30" big boy. Just need to find me some salmon now!
