Does anyone have any tips for launching / fishing around Edmonds?  I normally launch out of shilshole / Goldern Gardens but I'd like a change of scenery.  The fishing regulations mention something about no fishing allowed between two buoys near the pier so I am not even sure if it is viable.

The dog park is an easy launch, but I don't believe the gate is open until 6:00 am. There is a beach between the fishing pier and the ferry dock that is also an easy launch, you just need to give the pier guys plenty of room when you paddle out. I think the pier parking is 4 hours max, but that shouldn't be a problem for an early morning launch.
