I blew out my Achilles so opening day hunting has turned into a fishing trip for me. I'm hoping to fish Lake Okanagan, Skaha, and Vaseaux. I'm going to run a downrigger off the Yak for the first time. Fingers crossed.

Back from the OK. I managed to get into some hunting which limited my fishing. Weather also limited the fishing on a couple of days.
Still, had some fun. Caught a few and lost a few...
Mixed in a lot of these...
I casted and trolled. More success casting.
A silver diamond shaped lure with red tape and an eyeball was the most consistent.
