Hi, thinking about trolling off of West Beach (around the bend from Deception Pass). Shallow water flat line trolling. What are folks using? I was thinking maybe a light banana weight, dodger or flasher and a herring plug, spoon or spinner. Also may just hang out and buzz bomb   :)

Thanks
Rick

I would use a light banana weight and a pink spinner

I was fishing off West Beach last Sunday and picked up a 6-7 lb buck.  Trolling just past the shallows in about 100 ft of water.  I was testing out the new down rigger - fishing about 30 ft - pulling a red/green Gibbs flasher, white hoochie and herring strip.  Good luck out there.
